«We deal a little with what we know and a lot with what we are!»

The Psysol clinic was founded in 2012 by Dr. Lahcen Ait Bentaleb – a psychiatrist, associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal, and researcher – with the goal of offering safe, effective, and non-invasive alternative treatments to all those who don’t respond to conventional treatments such as medication and psychotherapy, who can’t tolerate them, or who can’t use them for any other reason.

With this aim in mind, Psysol has been outfitted with cutting-edge technology and a well-trained and experienced team to ensure quality care that respects the dignity of its patients.

The ultimate goal of the clinic is to improve the quality of life of its patients without the disadvantages of potential side effects of medication, which can sometimes be quite significant.

We still use conventional treatments, such as medication and psychotherapy because we believe in them however, we favor alternative methods, when possible, to minimize or eliminate potential side effects of medication

Since its inception, hundreds of patients have already benefited from these treatments, with interesting results. Some of our patients were able to reduce or even stop taking their medications.

Like any other treatment, these methods aren’t suitable for everyone and aren’t foolproof. When a patient does not respond to the treatment as expected, he is not left behind; we do everything possible to satisfy our customers.
